Mitch Davis
Team Manager - Pennsylvania
Throughout his 40-plus year illustrious career, Davis has multiple championship and race wins, including an Indy 500 victory. He has worked for teams such as Galles Racing, Patrick Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing and Newman Haas Racing, to name a few. He was also the Team Manager at Dale Coyne Racing when the team picked up its first win in 2009 with the late, great Justin Wilson. Recently, he’s spent the last three seasons at Wayne Taylor Racing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship where he helped develop the new GTP Hybrid Acura ARX-06.
Terry Brown
Special Projects Manager - Minooka, IL
A long-time ‘weekend warrior’ for Dale Coyne Racing where he spent most race weekends doing airjack during pit stops, Terry joined the team full time as Team Manager in February 2018. Entering semi-retirement, Terry is taking on the new role of Special Projects Manager this season.
Don Bricker
Lead Engineer - Yale, Michigan
Involved in motorsports since 1993, Don has worked for teams such as Tasman Motorsports, Conquest Racing, and Panther Racing to name a few. He was the DAG and shock engineer on the first Honda powered car to win an IndyCar race (Loudon, 1995) and was member of three Indy Lights championship winning teams in the 1990’s with Bryan Herta, Steve Robertson and Cristiano da Matta. He has been with DCR for five years now.
Andrea Amico
Milano, Italy
An Italian born in 1998, Andrea has been involved in motorsport since 2016. He has joined Dale Coyne Racing as lead Systems Engineer and previously worked as Performance Engineer and Test team Responsible in FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 Championships for Trident Motorsport. His career highlights include finishing first (2021) and second (2022) in the FIA F3 Championship with Trident Motorsport.
Andres Altaba Sanz
Castelseras, Spain
Starting his fourth season with DCR, Andres previously worked overseas before making the move to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. He was a Crew Chief on the LMP2 Intereuropol Competicion entry in the European and Asian Le Mans Series, a chief mechanic in F3 for Fortec Motorsports (UK) and a part of Jenzer Motorsport’s GP3 team.
Anthony Aznar
Homestead-Miami, Florida
With a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University, class of 2023 graduate, Anthony brings nine years of experience with him as he enters his first season with Dale Coyne Racing. He most recently worked as a freelance mechanic for Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport in US Formula Regional during their team and driver championship winning season as well as for Exclusive Autosport in USF2000. He additionally freelanced as a Data Analyst for several privateers and was Vice President of FIU’s FSAE Team during its best result of 47th place out of 114 entrants and first place amongst all Florida Schools.
Arturo Morimoto
Chicago, IL
The team member with the most seniority at DCR, Arturo has been working on race cars since he finished high school in 1990. He’s one of the few people who has done every position on the pit crew throughout his years in racing.
Colin Duff
Crieff, Scotland
Having started his career in racing in 1972, Colin is one of the most experienced team members at Dale Coyne Racing and one of the team's longest standing members having spent more than 12 years at DCR. He's worked for the likes of Newman Haas Racing and Forsythe Racing, holding important positions such as Chief Mechanic. He's won multiple championships and an Indianapolis 500 pole position over the course of his career.
Colin Ward
Dayton, Ohio
Before joining Dale Coyne Racing at the end of 2021, Colin started his professional racing career 10 years ago with Michael Shank Racing’s IMSA team and then worked for GMG Racing, in IMSA and SRO. Some of his career highlights include winning Petit Le Mans with MSR and going to Le Mans with them in 2016.
Dave Kirk
Downers Grove, IL
Starting his third season with Dale Coyne Racing, Dave, who claims to have had the greatest mustache in history in 2023, studied automotive service technology at the College of DuPage.
Ferdous Masshoud
Malaysia
In his 14 years of experience in motorsports, Ferdous has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class (2015), the Asian Le Mans Series (2016, LMP2), the European Le Mans Series (2017, LMP2), the Macau GT World Final in 2018 and 2019 and the GT World Challenge in 2018 as well as the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2021 and 2022.
Gavin Nielsen
Woodstock, Illinois
After joining Dale Coyne Racing right out of high school last season, Gavin, a fueler for the team, is entering his second full season of NTT INDYCAR SERIES racing in 2024. One of the youngest pit crew members in the Series, he notes starting the car on the grid before the Indianapolis 500 as one of his career highlights.
Icarus Santos
Springfield, NJ
A new team member at Dale Coyne Racing, Icarus has a couple of seasons in motorsports under his belt. One in the F4 Championship and one in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship.
John Littlefield
Trussville, Alabama
With 24 years of experience in motorsports under his belt, John has many career highlights to choose from. However, he notes that winning the 2001 CART Championship with Cristiano da Matta as his most memorable, while his 16 years at Newman Haas Racing come a close second. John has now worked with Dale Coyne Racing for six seasons.
Jose Carlos Sedano
Rosario, Argentina
With 27 years of experience in motorsports, Jose Carlos is starting his this season with Dale Coyne Racing. His most memorable moments in auto racing include building a Formula Renault from scratch with his brother Fernando in 1997, a second place finish in the Ferrari Challenge Finali Mondiali at Monza with STILEF Ferrari Dealer Team and his first NTT INDYCAR SERIES podium with David Malukas in 2022.
Juan Carlos Cortes
Mexico City, Mexico
With over 30 years motorsports experience, JC has worked about 20 years for Dale Coyne Racing. Early career highlights include winning the F3000 championship in Mexico three years in a row. His highlights with DCR include the team first win with Justin Wilson in 2009, first pole position with Mike Conway in 2013, IndyCar rookie of the year with Ed Jones in 2017 and Indy 500 rookie of the year with Santino Ferrucci.
Karina Redmond
Montreal, Canada
Entering her 19th season in motorsports in 2024, Karina started her career with Conquest Racing before moving to the Champ Car World Series. After a six-year stint in sportscar racing, where she was part of the two-time ALMS Championship winning Muscle Milk Pickett Racing team, she returned to open-wheel racing with Dale Coyne Racing. Her highlights at DCR include Ed Jones’ third place finish at the Indy 500, Sebastien Bourdais’ 2017 St. Petersburg victory, Alex Palou’s rookie season in 2020 and the entire 2021 season in which Romain Grosjean claimed three podium finishes and a pole position.
Marco Soto
Naples, Florida
One of the latest additions to the team at Dale Coyne Racing, Marco has been involved in motorsports since 2018. A graduate of Oxford Brookes (MSc in Motorsports Engineering) in the United Kingdom, he worked as a motorsports contractor in the UK for Arden Motorsports, Optimum Motorsports and RAM Racing. 2024 will mark his first year in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
Mike Cole
England, United Kingdom
Having raced himself in his early years, Mike became a factory mechanic for Formula Ford European teams before switching to the transportation side of things for European F3000 and Formula 1 teams after buying his own truck. He initially joined Dale Coyne Racing in 1996 where he spent 18 years as a transport driver. After an 8-year sabbatical, Mike returned to Dale Coyne Racing two seasons ago.
Nico Don
Rosario, Argentina
With over 20 years of experience, Nico has worked at Dobleclick Racing, specializing in the assembly and development of high-performance engines and transmissions. Throughout his career, he has gained notable expertise in quarter-mile cars, contributing to the performance and success of numerous projects in the world of high-speed racing.
Pancho Carter
Racine, Wisconsin
One of Dale Coyne Racing’s team members who needs no introduction, Pancho has had an illustrious career in racing. Renato Lepore
Vancouver, Canada
Although he had a Law Degree under his belt and prior experience in that area, Lepore decided to switch his focus to racing and obtained an Engineering Degree. Having won several Team and Driver championships in Europe in Formula 3 through Formula 2, he notes winning his first race as a Race Engineer as one of his most memorable career highlights.
Sandro Mauro
Montreal, Canada
Returning to motorsports after a 23-year hiatus, a former member of Williams and Prost in Formula 1 and Tasman and Forsythe in IndyCar, Sandro steps away from his real estate endeavours as well as his daughter Senna and family to honor his fallen brother at Aston Martin F1. He is appointed as a consultant as well as the front-end at Dale Coyne Racing. #KeepFightingPeter
Shaun Brits
South Africa
Our newly appointed crew chief on the #51 entry, Shaun joined DCR in 2023 after spending the majority of his motorsports career overseas.
Trevor Mitchener
Alexandria, Indiana
Having worked for multiple teams such as Panther Racing, Sam Schmidt Racing and Kelley Racing as a spotter over the course of his 25 years in racing, Trevor has spent the last 10 seasons with Dale Coyne Racing. As a spotter Trevor has multiple wins and podiums across Indy NXT, USF Pro, IMSA and NASCAR, though he notes that the third place finish at the Indy 500 with driver Ed Jones as one his career highlights.
Todd Fields
Baltimore, Maryland
A full time Pilot for a Private Aviation Company, Todd has been a spotter for Dale Coyne Racing since 2012. He started in auto racing in 1992 with NHRA Hall of Fame driver and former IndyCar owner, Kenny Bernstein. He’s worked for various teams in NHRA Drag Racing, IMSA, NASCAR and IndyCar. His career highlights include being on Al Unser Sr’s pit crew for his last Indy 500 in 1993 and winning both the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 in 1996 with NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett and owner Robert Yates.
Gene Hulsey
Oak Forest, Illinois
An award winning show car painter for more than 30 years, Gene has been painting Dale Coyne Racing's race cars for 12 years now. Prior to his time with DCR, Gene had his own business custom building, painting and doing all the mechanical work on street rods, muscle cars and hot rods from the ground up including chopping, channeling, shaving and custom painting.
